self level rear shox - Magenta Sunset - 30-11-2015 does anyone know of there is an equivalent size 'Nivomat' shock that would fit the rear end? RE: self level rear shox - zx_volcane - 30-11-2015 can't see how they'd work with torsion bar setup as thought they party replaced having springs on de ovlovs RE: self level rear shox - welshpug - 30-11-2015 same as any other damper on a self levelling estate tbh, they just pump up to assist the spring. just happens to be a torsion bar spring rather than a coil spring. as for if there are any, never seen any myself :/ RE: self level rear shox - zx_volcane - 30-11-2015 under the impression they take on part of the spring rating - hence fitting non nivomat shocks to a volvo results in it being fairly slammed RE: self level rear shox - Magenta Sunset - 01-12-2015 I recall my bruv's SD1 had them. afaik they compensate for heavier loads as welshpug says, pressurized inside. RE: self level rear shox - Rippthrough - 01-12-2015 They need more length for the same travel so you wouldn't get them to fit without extended mounts.
