water pipe problem - tysonbully2k12 - 08-11-2015

had to change the clutch cable today and noticed the water pipe flange on the rear of the engine had a pipe missing.

it has the pipe connected that runs along the drivers side arch but beside it there a open end with no pipe on. is it missing a pipe or is it a blank?

Its for the water cooled egr which I'm guessing you don't have? would be 2001 models that tend to have it

thats good then. is it supposed to have a blank on it? or is it blanked inside it? thanks

Its just blanked inside, usually requires "trimming" to fit a bigger turbo

I saw mine had an extra pipe that is internally blanked, didn't know it was for the watercooled EGR but that makes sense.
Hard to find the blanked one from a motor factors, so have bought one and a silicone bung to go with it.
