Not Starting Help Appreciated - Dturbobooost - 24-10-2015

Ive just bought a 306 hdi non runner turning over fine getting diesel to the injectors . plugged it in today an up came these fault codes P00c8 and p00cc something to do with injector wiring problem ? Ive noticed the red restart button beside brain the button is not there an theres a wire joining in it would that bypass the button or would that stop it starting ? All help greatly appreciated

That should bypass the button, it's a fuel cut off switch so if you've got fuel pressure at the injectors that should be fine. Sounds like you've answered your own question, check the injector wiring. Wink

Usually that's a knackered ECU when you've got that fault. It's the injector drivers that break in the ECU. You could test by connecting another set of injectors (no need to fit) and see if the code is still there. If it is then it's the ECU.
