Tyre Pressures? - JTaylor2005 - 18-10-2015

Alright guys Smile

Looking in the manual for my car it says that I should have 35psi for front and rear. This seems a little odd to me as the rear is usually quite a bit lower as it doesn't have a huge diesel engine loaded onto it.
What psi's do people run in their cars?

Thanks, Jack

between 32 and 35.

try for 35, as that's what the air machine says, but its prob more like 32. Smile

36 all round on cyclones, I like firm tyres though.

This. No problems so far.

36?! Must get a little skittish!

Bet it gets close to 40 on a long motorway run or hoon!

I tend to run more in the rear tyres

Nope... I should add, that pressure is done warm though...I don't have an air compressor at home! I have overinflated the Focus tyres before, it's surprising how ~2psi can make a lot of difference.

It's fine whenever I give it hell. Didn't notice anything up Prescott.
