headlight mount - fgrc76 - 05-10-2015 Does anyone know if I can get a outer headlight mount, got a second hand light but this part is missing, and my original one is smashed doh, RE: headlight mount - Magenta Sunset - 05-10-2015 just a thought, do you have enough bits to araldite back together? RE: headlight mount - Toms306 - 05-10-2015 Do you still have the other 2? Dont really need the three tbh. RE: headlight mount - fgrc76 - 05-10-2015 Yeah theres 2 mounting points so hopefully that'll do, RE: headlight mount - Toms306 - 05-10-2015 Yeah that'll be fine, hard to find a set with all three intact these days! RE: headlight mount - fgrc76 - 05-10-2015 Cheers mate, RE: headlight mount - Dum-Dum - 05-10-2015 Cable ties? This tbh, my DT went through the MOT no issue with the headlights cable ties on, only had 1 mount in tact between the pair! RE: headlight mount - fgrc76 - 05-10-2015 I'll bodge it tomorrow, RE: headlight mount - Matt - 06-10-2015 If you have another set of lights then you could plastic weld the mount back on, this is what I did RE: headlight mount - fgrc76 - 06-10-2015 There's nothing left of the original apart from the bolt and bit of plastic, but not enough to do anything with, headlight is now in with 1 cable tie and 2 bolts, seems to be good as there's no movement |
