Laquer blisters - Magenta Sunset - 19-09-2015 Some of you must have been there, the laquer has blistered in a few places, roof, front bumper top, and a couple of others. Can I get away with nibbing those panels down & respraying just the laquer, or will I need to colour-coat as well? I have all my own spray gear. RE: Laquer blisters - HDi--Power - 19-09-2015 You need to cut it right back to primer and start again RE: Laquer blisters - Magenta Sunset - 19-09-2015 "rats" :/ RE: Laquer blisters - Niall - 19-09-2015 Depends on the quality of the paint there really. Ive done it before on my old back bumper. Just flatted back and painted with clear coat again. Once cut and polished you wouldn't even notice! |
