TPS - dimar - 01-09-2015 Hi all, I've been given a TPS ( shown on the picture) witch apparently should fit my 306 HDI.Can anyone tell by the number if this is any good for my car? Thanks. Dim RE: TPS - HDi--Power - 01-09-2015 If its the same shape(looks like it is) it will fit, they were all the same from 406's, 206's grand vitara etc, anything that had one RE: TPS - Jonny81191 - 01-09-2015 ^this, also just plug it in and see, it'll work without being bolted on so it's only a 2 min job to test it RE: TPS - toseland - 02-09-2015 it will throw a code if its wrong but wont cause any issues permanently. if the glove fits.. RE: TPS - dimar - 02-09-2015 I've just bolted it on and took a quick drive...no EML on, the car have more power in the higher revs.Is it possible in case it's a wrong one to store a silent code?I've thought they have different rates potentiometers depending of the model.Regards RE: TPS - MrBigMac - 02-09-2015 Maybe your old one is defective hence noticing the power RE: TPS - toseland - 03-09-2015 it wouldnt make anyt difference.. i just know that if its not the right one the car says "f**k you" and starts flashing at you.. also does if you unplug it with ignition on etc, i had to reset mine |
