Lowering springs - Niall - 02-05-2012 Tight some of you know my epic fail with my lowering attempt. I bought some 40mm springs but they were for a gti so dropped it about 10mm lol Well I've finally ordered more! But.... The ones I have on at the moment are progressively wound. The new ones aren't and are a lot shorter! Will this make a difference to the handling as my handling at the moment is almost exactly how I want it. These are the new ones. 1.8 spax ssx springs. Exactly the same as the ones on there at the moment except their for the gti
