Just as a heads up though, I recently bought an upgrade over my old halfords jack because it was bloody terrifying and quite dangerous! RE: Halfords 5 piece lifting kit £36 with code - cpikey316_ - 30-08-2015 I have a halfords jack and it makes gouges in my drive unless I put something substantial underneath it. I assume this is normal. That creeper thing looks like fun. I assume this is normal. Might be your drive. The tarmac on mine gets marked by any jack, a bit of old carpet works great. When I work on my car I get it on stands then roll out a huge old roll of carpet under it, very nice to lie on. RE: Halfords 5 piece lifting kit £36 with code - Iceman299 - 30-08-2015 I personally think halfords jacks are crap but for £36, might be of use to someone. I need to invest in a proper trolley jack soon, constantly using scissor jacks is annoying ![]() |
