PHase 1 3 door bouncing window?? - Redordead89 - 20-07-2015
My driver window bounces on the way down! Any ideas on a fix and also have a dying drivers door lock mech, is the lock mech interchangeable between 3/5 door and across all 3 phases if any at all? If not has anyone got a spare it's a 1996!

I'm still learning about these cars......
if it was mine I would take the door card off and watch whats going on, and take it from there......
maybe it only needs lubing.....but as the window is "bouncing" maybe a corroded track????
take the door card off and have a looksee......
pics pics pics....I need to take the door card of ours shortly to attend to a broken door "stay" and general lube inside the door, and investigate a "clunk" noise heard during window operation, mainly heard when window goes up.

Possibly broken plastic clip, also lubricate the rubbers.
As for the lock mechs they are different for ph3, I don't know if 1 and 2 are the same though.
