So now im after something revvy, loud and cheap? any ideas? RE: After a fast road/stripped car - lolsteve - 11-07-2015 Saxo vts? Zr 160? 206 gti? RE: After a fast road/stripped car - cpikey316_ - 11-07-2015 Old Saab 9-3? Silly cheap in coupe form, and the tuned engines get the sort of reliable power than D-turbo owners have wet dreams about. An aero would be the best starting point, that comes with the best turbo. RE: After a fast road/stripped car - adam b - 11-07-2015 You can buy my XSi at the right price ![]() RE: After a fast road/stripped car - procta - 11-07-2015 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1994-Citroen-AX-Forte-VTS-1-6-16V-TU5JP4-Road-legal-Track-car-Project-/271925773732? RE: After a fast road/stripped car - DAN@ADRIAN FLUX - 13-07-2015 Hi, If you need any help with insurance at all then please feel free to drop me a line. Regards, Dan. RE: After a fast road/stripped car - 7057sam - 13-07-2015 106 gti or they's was a ax gt forsale on here, looked like a right little weapon. RE: After a fast road/stripped car - Pebbles167 - 13-07-2015 Pretty much anything with north of 150bhp in a medium shell or 100bhp in a light shell will shift along well. Bang for buck I'd recommend a ZR 160, or a 206 180. They are not particularly in demand and so sell for very cheap. Most may have been bought up for racing in the mgcc but at least most rovers now wont be on their original headgaskets. RE: After a fast road/stripped car - Poodle - 14-07-2015 Yeah don't get a saab if you want something that revs, i know diesels with higher red lines. Are 6s really more expensive to buy? Perhaps it's the season, when i was looking a few months back they were cheaper than a decent hdi, certainly cheaper than anything with a vag badge, or anything that quick tbh. |
