boost leak ? - Motatalk - 17-06-2015

Think I have a damn boost leak altho I'm hitting 14.5psi pretty quick and holding I've adjusted the bosch pump max fuel to the point it's raised my idle which I've decreased off slightly then the compensator and also adjusted the wastegate on the t2 but still getting the same boost as before just got to find the pig now as by all rights I should be seeing a good 18psi min really shouldn't I?

Could be weak/dodgy actuator. Chuck a £19 MBC on just to rule it out... Also saves f*cking about under the car everytime you want to adjust it. Win/win.

Can't be that hard to find, most boost leaks on the XUD piss oil out all over the place so you can't really miss them.
