You're too nice Tongue

Re: Bargin Gaz golds on ebay: Yorkshire. - Scott - 27-04-2012

Are they the same between 205s etc then? I.e are they guaranteed to fit a 306? ninja

Re: Bargin Gaz golds on ebay: Yorkshire. - Dan! - 27-04-2012

From what I understand Scott, the 205 struts have the droplink mount at a slightly different angle, but if you use a passenger side 205 strut on the drives side of a 306 then its fine, so basically you just swap the sides they go on.

No point buying Gaz Gold if you just want to wind them down

Re: Bargin Gaz golds on ebay: Yorkshire. - Chris - 27-04-2012

I'm not going for cheap ones again, I've blown two sets already.
Been onto BC Racing about some custom versions of the ones there about to release.

GHA's should be fine and are about £200 less...

Or there are alternatives on europerformance.co.uk IIRC

Re: Bargin Gaz golds on ebay: Yorkshire. - Pompey306mark - 27-04-2012

Mine is about 50mm and there is still 10-15 mm to go. Plus the struts are shorter than standard and gha shocks.

Mine are probably about the same as the golds, as I had the threads turned down by 10mm to accomodate a proper top-nut, rather than the sleeve-nut.

Re: Bargin Gaz golds on ebay: Yorkshire. - Dan! - 27-04-2012

Cant win with you suspension geeks lol

People get cheap coilys and when they say 'how do I get them lower' everyone pipes on about 'should buy proper coilovers blah blah ebay ones are shit, shock bodies to long etc' and as soon as somebody says how low do Gaz Golds go, the answer is 'get cheap coilovers for lows' lmao

Re: Bargin Gaz golds on ebay: Yorkshire. - Chris - 27-04-2012

So true Dan.
Cheap ones are cheap for a reason. Gonna be spending like 5-600 on some BC's and as there like the d2's I'll be able to go low and still have shock travel.
