Trust me that squares on wrap material would be difficult for an expert to fit right. Separate squares will mean the paint fading differently, but what you want is separate squares on application tape (good vinyl, oracal or avery 7 year minimum) and then you'll have a chance to measure and get it right. Make sure the aerial is not in a square too, end the sides under the door rubber and into the guttering PS I used to run my own sign company RE: checkered roof plan - Dum-Dum - 16-05-2015 I was gonna say the 30 individual squares as if you f*ck one up you can always replace that one square and it's cheaper. It will need careful application but such is life. The only problem with the 30 squares is they might well not be enough, look at the pic they use in the ebay listing, how many squares did they use, 35 right? not 30. RE: checkered roof plan - highwayman306 - 16-05-2015 Or just don't do it...? Is there any reason other than looks that you want to do it? i.e roof rust, bird shite etc. I mean each to their own, sorry if this has come across arsey, i really don't mean it like that but your car looks nice as it is RE: checkered roof plan - Eeyore - 16-05-2015 I reckon you want a large vinyl sheet with all the individual squares on transfer tape. You will never line up ten squares let alone 30. The full sheet I reckon is possible.... |
