stripping the car ? - jjenn20 - 12-05-2015 If I strip my car out will it need lowering ? RE: stripping the car ? - Eeyore - 12-05-2015 er... If you strip it out there is obviously less weight in the car so the suspension will sit higher... RE: stripping the car ? - jjenn20 - 12-05-2015 Does it need lowering ?? Wil it handle okay with out ? RE: stripping the car ? - Iceman299 - 12-05-2015 (12-05-2015, 02:18 PM)jjenn20 Wrote: Does it need lowering ?? Wil it handle okay with out ? Strip it, decide if you like handling or not. If the latter, lower it RE: stripping the car ? - Piggy - 12-05-2015 see my videos and thread!! I had lowered mine on 21mm bars about 40mm. Had to lower it again by 50mm when I finished removing junk! RE: stripping the car ? - jjenn20 - 12-05-2015 Yehh I will, haha piggy thats one naked 306 RE: stripping the car ? - adam b - 13-05-2015 Think my beam was set 20mm lower. WP will confirm. Doesn't look high with not much weight in, also depends on how much rake you want and how you want it to handle Such a sheddy looking car hehe.. RE: stripping the car ? - jjenn20 - 14-05-2015 Yeh if I do strip It I think 20 mm will do, hona give insurance a call and see how much extra it will be haha RE: stripping the car ? - Dum-Dum - 14-05-2015 IIRC the ones I've stripped have been about 20mm higher at the rear after stripping. Weather it needs lowering or not afterwards depends on your personal opinion on looks and handling. |
