Posted this in the Youtube thread ages ago but no one appreciated. It is absolutely bat shit insane though. I'd love to see a speedo in the corner as it's kinda hard to judge but I reckon 70-100mph through most of it?

Number like 30 = distance to corner in meters or yards, flat maybe = keep your foot in if it feels right, old skool pace notes
They are east to follow, the modern ones are much more complex with numbers etc!

To be fair it was late, and I just guessed..being 1983 they'd have been a good chance of it being a mk2
Oh and 405 video is crisis-worthy! Sure I read somewhere that Vatanen has bought many of his old rally cars.

this is true, and most were mk2's in that era,
I love the bit in the 405 one where he's driving with one hand at full throttle using the other hand to keep the sun out of his eyes
can't blame him if he has bought them, that would be a whole garage of awesome!
