Key won't start car - Nathan1305 - 20-03-2015
I know it's another key thread but this doesn't make sense.
They key locks and unlocks fine so no issues there.
But it won't start the car, I've stripped it down so it's just the blade and plastic surround hoping that if its chip related it should eliminate the issue but nothing still.
The only way of getting it working is by using my spare key first.

try using the remote key to start it but hold your spare next to it in the ignition, if it works then your transponder is knackered/out of sync

Just tried that and wouldn't start. But if I turn the ignition on with the spare key then use the blip key to start it, it works
