Panel beaters advice - THE_Liam - 17-03-2015 Have a look at the damage on the OSR quarter, repairable? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SALE-93-PEUGEOT-205-GTX-BLUE-3-DOOR-1-4-NEW-TEST-LOW-MILES-/161613797291?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item25a0eed7ab RE: Panel beaters advice - Nathan1305 - 17-03-2015 Shouldn't be to bad as the access is easy. It's the swage line that will be a pain to get out as the metal is a lot stronger along that line. Is fixable if you know what you're doing. RE: Panel beaters advice - THE_Liam - 18-03-2015 Reckon it'd be expensive? RE: Panel beaters advice - bashbarnard - 18-03-2015 Wouldn't have though so £100 tops. I reckon the bloke I know would do it for £50. If you strip the inner panel less work for them as well. Easy access RE: Panel beaters advice - Choppin - 18-03-2015 That may come out with a sucker, honestly doesn't look that bad but to give you a ball park fella I'd be round the £150 for that if the sucker didn't do it RE: Panel beaters advice - welshpug - 18-03-2015 most of that will come out very easily however its bent right on the boot shut so wont be perfect without some basking and paint. RE: Panel beaters advice - THE_Liam - 18-03-2015 I was thinking I might get away with a skim of filler after its beaten out or is it too bad for that? If you remove the inner panels to make it easier for them then they could get the bigger dent out easily. And if you're a bit strapped for cash you can ask them to roughly get the shut line straight and just run a small skim of filler to get it perfectly smooth. RE: Panel beaters advice - THE_Liam - 18-03-2015 Might do that. Gonna have a look at weekend, cheers lads! RE: Panel beaters advice - powerandtorque - 18-03-2015 There's an inner metal panel partly in the way so you won't be able to fully get on the back even with the interior trim and speaker removed. |
