had a quick search and carnt find owt so.....
looking at doing mine tomorrow. what i want to know is how long you have to leave em in the oven and at what temp? i need my car for work so needs to be done right the first time and done in one dey. any help please you bunch of wonderfull people.

Depends what make you have. Valeos are more difficult than depos. Just put them in on a low heat and up it till they start to go slightly soft.

I had them at about 60 i think until they were to hot to leave had on for too long, just keep an eye on them.

Can't help you there. I did mine with a heat gun but wish I had of done them in the oven!

Valeo are harder to open then depo i think i have valeo :/
Somethink to do with the glue used to seal them

Confusedhock:

Gd with opening them then! lol Bastrd of a job to do.

Take your time with them as the key is to gently pry them open, and if you find you're loosing patience with them.. SCCHTOP! take a break and continue else you f*ck up the casing!

I'd probably say a small thin flat blade screw driver. As a card would melt.

Mine are Depo's, but I used a heat gun and flat blade screwdriver.

I used satin but with a couple of thins coats of laquer. Not sure it makes much difference what you use tbh.

Lol you can satin, Matt, primer and lacquer for £2.50 500ml can in Alfreton mate.

PompeyMark has blue masks but iirc they're genuine cibie ones.
He also had orange masks at one point

Ive been told they are bastard to open up on the other hand i have hurd of people useing a hair dryer and flat head screwdriver Smile i was thinking of heatin a wall paper scraper up on a gas hob and trying that Smile
