Prices and stuff have just been released, apparently both engines are pretty good - the yanks get a V6 as well.

Someone lend me £34,085 for a completely unrelated reason?

My friend has a Mustang Roush, just like this.

Worth every penny but damn it's expensive to run!

'Performance and refinement personified'

I didn't know the Mustang was ever refined....I suppose it wont be made out of bin plastic now either? Itwasntme

As cool as they look, I just don't think they work over here tbh, but we'll see when it goes on sale. Smile

For the money in the US, the Mustang is a very nice car, but outside of the US they are a little over priced imo.

I had a 2014 GT while I was working out there, given by the company. Pretty nice car and you get a lot of car for your US dollars out there.

seems pointless when you can get an older better v8 import. doesnt even come with a v8. thats the reason id want one. probably rust like hell here as well

For sure there are better V8's, and by the time you have imported, and paid all the tax/duty costs, I think it would be better to get a european V8. A lot more refined, handle better and give you fuel economy.

RE: Ford Mustang in the UK - Eeyore - 20-01-2015

er.... It does come as a V8? You choose it in the engine options?

Looks like it has leather as standard. Mine configured comes to 30k.... Been waiting for the prices to come out for ages... although I had hoped it was going to be a lot cheaper... after all cheapness is the point of the mustang...

RE: Ford Mustang in the UK - THE_Liam - 20-01-2015

I wonder if anyone will buy the 4-pot?

RE: Ford Mustang in the UK - Eeyore - 20-01-2015

I would...

RE: Ford Mustang in the UK - Niall - 20-01-2015

No. Having a mustang with less than 6 cylinders is like going to a brothel for a cuddle!

RE: Ford Mustang in the UK - Tom - 20-01-2015

35k for mine, i quite like it... Must do shit mpg though #typicaltompost Wink

RE: Ford Mustang in the UK - j-n-88 - 20-01-2015

Tbf...  If its allowed to be sold in the uk under Euro 6 emission regs, it's probably reasonably fuel efficient compared to the typical US ones...  However that'll probably ruin the 'drive' for some people... lol

RE: Ford Mustang in the UK - JamesPT - 22-01-2015

Its basicly all over europe now. but Forget about a 5.0 in Portugal....
We've got a engine size tax, that goes off the charts after 3.0L

Take a look at the difference in Price from the 2.3Turbo to the 5.0

RE: Ford Mustang in the UK - r3k1355 - 22-01-2015

Lol un-f*cking lucky.

FWIW ten years ago when the Monaro was released it was roughly the same money, so 35K for the V8 with all the specs is pretty cheap really.

GT86 is in the 27-30K price range and that only gives you a raspy 2 litre N/A

RE: Ford Mustang in the UK - HDIkyle - 01-02-2015

Is it just me that think that look horrendous? It's just another boring modern day box
