As titled,

How many cans of primer am i going to need for this, just the one wheel.
And how many cans of paint am i going to need?

It's going to be painted anthracite grey.

Title needs amending Tongue and id say one can of primer, on of paint and one of lacquer tbh. Should be plenty!

thirded. more than enough, i did two wheels with one can of primer, one can of colour

also, i've sanded back as much as i can prior to primer, is the route for spraying the wheel fairly similar to anything else, primer, sand, primer, paint, laquer?

I used a can of paint per wheel.

Depends on how fussy you are. I used near enough 1 300ml can of lacquer per wheel. Atleast i can machine polish to my hearts content that way lol.

I'd say 1 primer per wheel,
0.5 colour per wheel
1 lacquer per wheel.


All of the above is based on how i did mine, could differ slightly.
