Alternator Pulley - CJRODELL - 17-01-2015

Trying to take out the pulley from my nackered alternator to swap it out and put on an alternator from peugeot 405 but haven't got the proper tools to get the multispline bolt any tips on how to get it undone??

I've got the multi bit but i can't undo it with out the pulley spinning!

You need the other tool to counter hold it...

Tbf I read it wrong, thought it was a clutch pulley, not sure if they're the same!

If they are, you get a multispline outside with a hole through it so you can counterhold that while undoing the centre bolt.
