Renault Clio 172 Cup ITB's Forged £4800 - Eskiiboi - 01-01-2015 I am here to try and convert a few of you tractor lovers to a proper car on the right fuel Not sure I will get much interest here. I'm sure a few of you know of the car, and its safe to say, its FORKING MENTAL. It is with great regret that I am putting this car up for sale. I haven't owned it for very long, but after getting chance of a great offer I have ordered myself a new car. The sale of this will put a nice lump towards it. I am not by any means in a rush to sell This car has quite some history being rebuilt and winning sprint events and a championship a few years back (previous owner). Unfortunately in 2012 the engine let go so Fred (BTM) took on the responsibility of building the new engine, the only part kept was the head which was ported and skimmed from the previous build (done by Hill Power). It pulls 212bhp although a new set of wilder cams and tinkering with the settings will see 230-240bhp no issues. All parts have been purchased from new, I have most of the receipts which can be shown if required. The file of history with the car is very impressive Spec as follows: MOT until 29/08/2015 and passed last time with no advisories ClioSport 172cup with 63,000 miles on clock (6,000 on new engine) Gaz coilovers with fully adjustable dampening all round and adjustable height on the front ARB Rear roll bar Pure Motorsport front strut brace and top mount Camber bolts set to -3deg 25mm FK spacers on front 5mm laser cut spacers on back Speedline 2118 alloys powdercoat black with Nankang NS2R's on the front, Federal RSR tyres on the back Ferodo DS3000 pads and new discs Braided brake lines Super racing blue brake fluid Custom Cages half roll cage professionally installed and painted by EJM Preperations 2 x Cobra Evolution seats (stitched with Renault Sport logo) with side mounts, x low sub frame and adjustable runners 2 x Cobra 4 point harnesses picking up on roll cage harness bars Sabelt Clio cup racer steering wheel The car has just had a brand new 50mm Motorsport radiator custom made and fitted at great expense, along with Forge silicon hoses in blue Yozzasport race exhaust with sports cat and 182 manifold Like new windscreen Uprated fuel pump Walboro 225 Engine rebuilt by Fred@BTM Performance New Bottom End bored and honed to 83mm Ported and polished head (Part of original engine done by Hill Power Engineering) New Wossener 12.8:1 High Comp pistons New Renault Megane forged conrods (I believe these were bespoke ones Fred acquired during his dealings with Renault Sport) New Cat Cams 438 cams (these were originally installed before the ITB’s) All new bearings, seals, pumps, etc New Jenvey SF taper ITB’s with 120mm trumpets and deep dish back box and foam filter General Dynamics Typhoon ECU mapped by Paul@RS Tuning 630cc Injectors Bad points: Usual stone chips and small marks as expected for a track car I am based in Hereford, HR2 I am more than happy to take people out for a test drive As above, the price is £4800 ONO. I am open to movement on this but am in no rush to sell. RE: Renault Clio 172 Cup ITB's Forged £4800 - Eskiiboi - 26-01-2015 I know Zakk, you know what I'm like It is ready for more power Silver, all it needs is a wilder set of cams but it is enough for me and as the cambelt has only just been done it seemed pointless. The option is there though for the new owner just for the sake of a camshaft swap Shouldn't really spill the beans but a brand new Golf R. Just as capable with the DCC package but much more suited to the daily commute and my trip to the Nurburgring in June haha. The Mrs refused to travel that far with no stereo or sound deadening
