Ap Clutch - pugtk - 14-12-2014

I've just stripped my donor engine back, it has pretty good clutch.

Its an ap clutch, are these any good?

I will be modding the gov, lda pin on a bosch, and around 25 psi on t2

I was thinking of putting a new sachs clutch in, but if i can get away with it for a couple of months, when I have more money..haha

Its a good make yes, but obviously the friction plate could be worn, and as pressure plates get older thw clamping force is reduced.

Does an ap hold a similar amount of torque as a sachs?

it looks fairly fresh, there was only 120,000 on the car, so it cant have that much mileage.

Does any one know how wide(mm) a new friction plate is?

If I could get away with a release bearing for now Smile
