arch to top of wheel measurement? - luke89 - 09-12-2014

Hi folks.

So having fit new billy b4s and standard springs to my gti6 it now sits very high.its currently measuring at 165mm from the top of the cyclone to the arch.

If anyone with the same set up could measure theirs for me it would be an enormous help.

Cheers

If you've only just fitted them they'll need a while to settle.

When you say standard springs, do you mean the original ones or new GTi ones? Might've been supplied 'comfort' spec springs if they're new.

The springs are second hand but off a gti 6 so shouldn't need to settle much really.

Mine is 101mm on the offside and 102mm on the nearside but then it is lowered on coilovers however they have at least 30mm of thread left to wind down so yes yours must be quite high.

Is your car a GTi6 as fitting GTi6 springs to a non GTi does seem to lift the car quite a bit.
Have you taken your car for a drive to see if it settles?

Yep it's a gti and is been for a drive to no avail.
