Xsara vts quick rack converted to fit 205 - Paul_13 - 02-12-2014
I have a xsara Vts de-pas rack for sale. Was a phase 2 rack.
My mot tester is a bit funny about de-pas racks so I took it off.
It includes 205 length rack ends, track rod ends and gaitors which were all new not so long ago, still nice and tight still.
The ram post has been cut off to make it de-pas, I have also trimmed the heat shield so it fits over the rack and between the rods/linkages.
Ideally the unused holes in the pinion housing needs proper blanks made up to cover the holes. I only smeared a bit of sealant in there.
No linkage unfortunately but a square drive uj off a 205 fits. Myself and many others have done this, despite other people say it doesn't fit.

What's putting people off? The fact the ram post has been cut off? Tried selling this for ages now, thought someone would of snapped it up
