knocked wiring, what did i do? - Matt - 22-11-2014

So while doing the cambelt I've knocked some wiring.
Rev counter doesn't work - not too bothered tbh
Fuel gauge doesn't move. It registers no fuel, red light always on. It was parked up on the drive which is a hill, is it possible the mechanism in which tells how much fuel is seized or something? Or is it the case that I've knocked the wiring or something?

Where do I look for the wiring for both of these? Are they on the same loom? I have no idea when it comes too the electrical side of things

The Rev counter sensor is on the back of the flywheel near thebulkhead

Fuel sender is built into the pickup, the wiring goes through the car. No where near the engine bay

Maybe blew a fuse or earth wire

Considering both are on the clocks it's more likely to be something to do with them rather than anything you've touched in the bay imo.
