ABS sensor change - welshhero - 03-11-2014

Hi everyone.

Complete noob so apologies in advance.

I have just changed the rear axle on my 306 1.9TD 1999. So when the axle turned up the previous **** has cut the ABS sensor leads rather than unplugging them. Removing the sensors from the old axle in one piece was not possible so I have had to buy new ones. These have now turned up however I cannot get them through the hole in the back plate of the drum. So was I supposed to completely remove the drums by getting the 4 * M8 bolts out or are there different diameter holes for different axles.

Thanks All Welshhero

Sand the hole in the trailing arm, and I also jad to sand a bit pf the sensor itself when I put ones in before, there a tight fit.
