Idle control valve - kentiiboii - 13-04-2012

Notices over last couple of days my car is idling a bit high. Sits about about 1k sometime a bit more.
Could this be down to idle control valve sticking as it doesn't always happen. Could a clean sort it?

Pretty sure there isn't an idle control valve on a diesel.

Oh Sad any other idea what it could be then?

Throttle cable sticking somewhere?

Work on some lube on the throttle cable should loosen things up
