this is the state of my one and only key. as you can see its knacked and i carnt have it on my key ring and im always loosing the dam thing.
plus, when you shake it it sounds like something is loose inside but yet still works perfect.
what i want to know is can i get a new case for it and transfer the insides to the new one and how easy is it to do this?
last question, has anyone got a spare one if possible. thanks.

Spare keys can be picked up for less than a fiver on eBay.
1 small screw and the back pops off, blade slides out and the chip pops out. The transponder chip is a little black thing wedged in 1 corner of the casing. Don't forget to swap this over otherwise it won't start!

you mean the one thats the same as my first link also
the IR ones are 16mm thick and have an led you can see sticking out next to the key, the RF ones don't have the LED and are 12mm thick
