Fmic set up - 306pc - 28-10-2014 Would it be possible to create a fmic set up using longer sections of silicone hose? ![]() It's got to be easier routing nice bendy bits and hard pipe in small sections when needed. Never seen anyone do this though so I assume it's a bad idea? RE: Fmic set up - Mattcheese31 - 28-10-2014 It's not that bendy really, use it where you want, I wouldn't think it's a problem, not exactly cheap though ![]() RE: Fmic set up - Niall - 28-10-2014 Yeah lengths of silicone like that aren't all that bendy. They bend a bit then just kink. RE: Fmic set up - Grant - 29-10-2014 Plus remember that when you come on boost, thats all going to try and straighten out. Hence why people use SS/Aluminium piping ![]() RE: Fmic set up - silverzx - 29-10-2014 Personally if on a budget either: A) Buy 2 meters of straight 2"/2.25" aluminium then figure out what silicone bends you need and buy them separately. B) Buy a universal FMIC kit, use all of what you can then buy any little extra silicone bends that might help. RE: Fmic set up - 306pc - 29-10-2014 I bought 2 incomplete kits to make a whole. Laid it all out the other day and still thought I needed some more. It was just an idea. I didn't think about how it would move about when pushing 30psi through it. Maybe hard pipe is the answer. RE: Fmic set up - dt_ - 29-10-2014 Will a xantia fmic setup fit quite easily? RE: Fmic set up - mr_fish - 29-10-2014 (29-10-2014, 01:16 PM)dt_ Wrote: Will a xantia fmic setup fit quite easily?
