Re: Peugeot 208 - ben87 - 12-04-2012 too high for a start Re: Peugeot 208 - Grant - 12-04-2012 ^^^This, with some lows that would look pretty neat Re: Peugeot 208 - Ruan - 12-04-2012 That's not a supermini.... That's a f*cking MPV. Why does everything from France look like a VW Sharan these days?! Infact, I apologise, it's not even France anymore... Look at all these cars, they're all MPVs.. New Mini New Clio 207 307 308 New Ibiza New Golf DS3 107 C3 Megane.. All of them, STUPIDLY tall - when did everyone give up on "sleek lines" and just go for "bulbous and curvy"... I don't mind a curvier lady, but I'd still go for one who's slightly more slender and sleek... No? Or am I just a sexist pig? Re: Peugeot 208 - kingy - 12-04-2012 i would own one. Peugeot 208 - ben87 - 12-04-2012 110bhp and 70mpg job done! Re: Peugeot 208 - 4WayDiablo - 12-04-2012 ben87 Wrote:110bhp and 70mpg job done!Gotta be a good for a remap and a few mods :-) Re: Peugeot 208 - Toms306 - 12-04-2012 The high bonnets are for pedestrian impact safety! Safety and emmisions regs has ruined cars, I don't like that 208 at all personally but its too small for me tbh. Peugeot 208 - Jonny b - 12-04-2012 New cars are shite period!!! Re: Peugeot 208 - Ricky - 12-04-2012 I don't get the whole idea of the chrome and black wheels, Citroen seem to do it on all their cars now. If I wanted black and chrome wheels, I would go to Halfords. If I was going to buy a new Peugeot (which i'm not) It would be an RCZ, even if they turn out to be rubbish they still look amazing! Peugeot 208 - Jonny b - 12-04-2012 Saw an rcz on the back of an aa truck on the way back from airport the other day!! it looked awsomezzz Re: Peugeot 208 - Kezzieboy - 12-04-2012 Horrible, ugly car. Too big, definitely too tall, and just not pretty in any way. Like almost every new, reasonably priced car. Re: Peugeot 208 - Welshy_Pete - 12-04-2012 These new cars try and change a bulb with out a sensor going on it. Then its a Mot fail all these fancy cars cost big bucks wen they go wrong. To many sensors to many wires to many dash lights to many visits to the computer place who charge mega bucks. More Mot fails on sensors and dash lights showing. Also electrical problems you have a job to fix it with basic stuff. There getting to fancy and all the mod cons in the car from you house in your car. I just want a car which goes a to b. Cheap to run, cheap to fix, easy to fix, I can mod, change things. I dont want all the extra crap I dont need it and dont want it. There's on in Peugeot dealership I'm always drooling over it. Can't wait for fcs so I can have a free passenger ride in one . Re: Peugeot 208 - Pete - 13-04-2012 I quite like the 208 TBH, Sits high but most new cars do nowadays..pedestrian safety plus I think the average joe/jane likes an elevated seating position. Love RCZ's though see afew about and they are handsome things! Re: Peugeot 208 - Pompey306mark - 13-04-2012 RCZs are amazing. Look lovely nice interior. Only new pug I would buy. Second hand 407 coupe, maybe 206 gti. Re: Peugeot 208 - Ruan - 13-04-2012 Kezzieboy Wrote:Horrible, ugly car. QFTFT. Re: Peugeot 208 - Dan! - 13-04-2012 Im with Jonny/Kezzie/Ruany I cant remember the last new car to come out that I actually looked at thought, 'mmmm, that looks really cool!' All cars now just look like a blob of metal which has been stuck in a wind tunnel and then has chrome thrown at it. Shit and gay and horrible and rank and gay. Re: Peugeot 208 - Ruan - 13-04-2012 Why does no one make cars that look like: I'm not talking all time greats such as the E-Type, XJ220, 365 California etc... Just great looking cars that were mass produced that joe public could buy - no one makes these anymore. Peugeot 208 - Jonny b - 13-04-2012 Or Re: Peugeot 208 - mark_airey - 13-04-2012 Sorry Ruan but you missed one.............. Re: Peugeot 208 - Dan! - 13-04-2012 Them bmw's are one of few cars I would actually describe as 'pretty'. Lovely cars. Re: Peugeot 208 - mark_airey - 13-04-2012 That 2002 and this are 2 cars that I utterly love!!!!! Re: Peugeot 208 - Kezzieboy - 13-04-2012 f*ck yes jonny!! I'm looking at getting one at the end of the summer if I can get classic insurance for cheap enough Re: Peugeot 208 - Ruan - 13-04-2012 I could have gone on, yep, 309 gti... Another of my all time favourites. Re: Peugeot 208 - Pete - 13-04-2012 There's a minty fresh 505 D-turbo down the road from me..keep meaning to put a cheeky offer in for it. Here's a old looking square car, Buy it. £400 ono Re: Peugeot 208 - Curt - 13-04-2012 Just looks far too much like all the new Corsas etc Re: Peugeot 208 - stevobeavo - 13-04-2012 Have to say the 208 looks crap, Halfords wheels, chrome mirrors on anything other than a RS4 is a no no. Although I think the escort Ruan posted up looks horrid (awaits flaming ) Re: Peugeot 208 - Ruan - 13-04-2012 Well you can gtfo then! Is it a DTurbo or a proper Turbo? If it's a turbo, it's stupidly retro cool and I want it. |
