MOT Time - Kezzieboy - 12-04-2012

Well, just dropped her off for her MOT 9am tomorrow morning, so, pass or fail? Gave her a check over today, all bulbs fine, brakes all working fine...only issue is warning lights on the dash :?

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, due to the changes in MOT regs airbag lights are a fail, but you never know Tongue

Re: MOT Time - ginge191 - 12-04-2012

i'm going to say pass - as a 14 year old derv passed first time, you should have no problem Wink

Re: MOT Time - kingy - 12-04-2012

good luck, will keep an eye on this as my mot is due and my light is on.

Re: MOT Time - Niall - 12-04-2012

Fail. Any warning light is a fail as of this month.

Re: MOT Time - Kezzieboy - 12-04-2012

Mehhh, I assumed as much, f*cking hope it's a quick fix then, as I can't be dealing with a big bill until my student loan comes in!

Re: MOT Time - Kezzieboy - 13-04-2012

Boom straight through mo'fuckaaaaa!!

Advisories for perished brake hoses on the front (same as last year lol), 'slight play' at the front somewhere, p bushes or something I guess, and the airbag light (only an advisory . . . I'm not complaining?!)

Someone's mot tester isn't playing by the book!
Sweet nice and easy then!

Re: MOT Time - Kezzieboy - 13-04-2012

Yup, braided brake hose time I reckons, who/where is best to get them from? That swampy chap any good?

Re: MOT Time - Connor - 13-04-2012

People have had problems with swampy, but loads of people haven't... I would buy off him

Re: MOT Time - kingy - 13-04-2012

you need to send me the post code for that garage.

Re: MOT Time - Kezzieboy - 13-04-2012

You don't want it, I reckon they just went easy because I'm a LONG term customer, they're picky as f*ck usually! That's why I take it there, to find all the niggly little problems.

And cheers connor, does anyone else do them?
