Newbie to OC - c.tyers - 30-09-2014 Hi guys im chris newbie to OC. Owned my HDI (called donkey) for 4yrs now was originally bought to be a daily donkey while I did a turbo conversion on my GTi-6 but never really stayed like that. She was in a bit of a state when I bought her covered in stickers and spoilers etc. And the rest is explained by the pics RE: Newbie to OC - Piggy - 30-09-2014 I LOVE the first pic RE: Newbie to OC - WiNgNuTz - 30-09-2014 Welcome along! Seen this all over the Faceache, good to see you've signed up! Assuming you have more pics from your build, bang up a project thread, would love to see more! RE: Newbie to OC - Mattcheese31 - 30-09-2014 Welcome to the club fella RE: Newbie to OC - Jimbo - 30-09-2014 Welcome mate, had a good nosey around this at TRAX, love the work keep it up RE: Newbie to OC - Niall - 30-09-2014 Welcome! Love the moonstone! When i saw the first pic i thought it was a horrible colour but you see the interior properly and it actually looks pretty cool RE: Newbie to OC - mcvite - 01-10-2014 Welcome to the forum RE: Newbie to OC - Paisleycheesewarrior - 01-10-2014 Welcome, I like the white cyclones was it expensive to do? RE: Newbie to OC - c.tyers - 01-10-2014 Thanks for the welcomes guys. Sorry to disappoint niall but she ain't moonstone she's audi aviator grey, the purple plasti dip was fun but a satin finish car wasn't a long term plan it was more a cover up before paint as she looks very clean in the first pic but the paint work wasn't great unfortunately. Do you mean the cyclones or the whole build Paisley? RE: Newbie to OC - Paisleycheesewarrior - 01-10-2014 Just the cyclones, cheers. I imagine the whole build cost a lot! RE: Newbie to OC - c.tyers - 01-10-2014 I got mine powder coated for 100 quid. Paint is always an option but tbh I'd always recommend powder over paint as if done properly it won't chip like paint does RE: Newbie to OC - crumpy - 01-10-2014 Looks good mate. Ive seen your selling the wheels. How come? I think they really suit it. RE: Newbie to OC - c.tyers - 01-10-2014 Got a new set of wheels lined up for her, iv rocked the D90's for a couple of years, so thought it's time for a change. I'd like to keep them but need to sell to help fund the new wheels, at the price advertised someone will get a bargain and a pretty unique set of wheels for a pug. RE: Newbie to OC - JamesPT - 08-10-2014 Nice Cars! The Third jumped out for me! Welcome RE: Newbie to OC - Toms306 - 08-10-2014 Interesting plate, not much 'OEM' on that now lol!
