£150 306 - Nathan1305 - 12-09-2014 Been messed around on here so will be selling the car super cheap Has just been freshly taxed and has had a clutch and cable replaced and ICV. Only issue is a slightly noisy gearbox. Other than that it's a great car. It's in 127000 miles and is still really smooth. I know a lot if you guys don't want 1.4s but I thought if but it in here cheap as I'd rather see you guys have it or break it. I've changed it to crystals so it looks a lot nicer. I'll throw in the spare exhaust and the silver side skirts as well. Thanks guys any questions just ask RE: £150 306 - 1616six - 12-09-2014 Surely if you refunded the tax and called a scrap man you'd get that easily? RE: £150 306 - Eeyore - 12-09-2014 Where abouts are you located? Possibly know idea of any scrappys in Bristol will have to hunt around, so I can still get a tax refund? (12-09-2014, 11:14 AM)SRowell Wrote: Where abouts are you located? Bristol RE: £150 306 - Toms306 - 12-09-2014 You can refund the tax but will lose this month. So 5 months tax back (minus the 10% fee for only doing 6 months). Like £50 on a 1.4 probably? Don't know the small engine tax pre 2001! Scrap will be about £70 for the complete car. Yeah if I can sell it for £150 I'll be happy spent a lot more on it but just trying to get rid of it before I move RE: £150 306 - Toms306 - 12-09-2014 £79 - 10% = £70 (ish ). Minus a month is around a tenner. So about £60 back. Looking on here - http://www.cartakeback.com/ - you can get £115 in scrap for it! So about £60 back. £90 and they will collect it might do that, do you think I could keep the crystals? Or will they want the complete car RE: £150 306 - 1616six - 12-09-2014 Stick it on gumtree for £150 & it'll sell within a day if its taxed and mot'd! RE: £150 306 - Toms306 - 12-09-2014 They'll want it complete, but you could just put the frosted lights back on. Or as JJ says, try gumtree. Though the people you get coming round for a £150 car aren't necessarily the kind of people you want knowing your address. Also, just tried for my car/postcode again....one of the scrap yards on there only offers £45 for a whole car! And I thought £70 at my local one was bad lol. RE: £150 306 - Piggy - 12-09-2014 £250 on gumtree and it will sell fast I rekon. May have someone looking at it tomorrow put it on Facebook for £200 RE: £150 306 - vincent1 - 12-09-2014 £70.00 is what my local scrap yard offers too the price of scrap must of dropped lately. RE: £150 306 - Iceman299 - 14-09-2014 Try asking a peugeot breaker on ebay who are local to you. I scrapped an old accord back in the day to a honda breaker for £200 and they collected it RE: £150 306 - Piggy - 14-09-2014 I got £84 for bare shell 206 last week RE: £150 306 - Nathan1305 - 14-09-2014 Should be selling it Saturday for £125 and I'm getting a return on the tax |
