Spongy brakes? - Ryan'dolan - 10-09-2014 Ive a problem with my dturbo when I try and brake my car it takes very long to stop and they feel really spongy, what's the problem I've tried to change the brake fluid etc? Spongy brakes? - Frosty - 10-09-2014 Have you bleed fluid from the rear as well as the front? Also the rear brakes if there are drums may need adjusting RE: Spongy brakes? - Piggy - 10-09-2014 Lots of possibilities. First inspect all the brakes, ensure nothing worn out and no leaks. Then as said, properly adjust rear shoes if you have drums. Then bleed them from back left then back right then FL then FR.
