Aux Belt Routing - 2 Tensioners Needed? - bigcheez2k3 - 08-09-2014 Looks like my aux belt is going, getting a little frayed so will need to replace that very soon but first I wanted to ask about the routing of it. I have the one with the PAS pump on top, A/C pump has been removed but the current setup still uses both tensioners. Wondering what other have done? Currently the belt gets really close together due to the tensioners so was considering getting rid of one of them in the hopes a belt lasts a little longer. Terrible drawing to illustrate my point: RE: Aux Belt Routing - 2 Tensioners Needed? - bigcheez2k3 - 11-09-2014 Anyone? RE: Aux Belt Routing - 2 Tensioners Needed? - toseland - 11-09-2014 use the non AC belt, and a Non AC tensioner if it fits. tensioner at the top on mine puls the belt down easiest to do. |
