both windows in Y reg 306 stuck open - wacker315 - 04-09-2014 Hi all, when i bought my 306 6 months ago my windows both worked fine. Then the passenger window didnt go all the way back up to the top, it also kept losing its clip that sits in the window seal! Now both my windows constantly fall out of the door and they are both stuck inside the door so at the moment i have no windows! this is a nightmare as i must have bought at least 5 of the clips that sit in the seal of the window but they keep falling out. Is there anyway i can get the windows back up manually so my car is safe on a night. thanks in advance. Sean RE: both windows in Y reg 306 stuck open - Toms306 - 05-09-2014 You must be putting the clips in wrong! ![]() There isn't a way to manually move them, if the motors still work fine then you could 'help' the window back into place as you put it up. Otherwise you'll have to lose the motor and wedge the window up with a block of wood I guess. RE: both windows in Y reg 306 stuck open - Mattcheese31 - 05-09-2014 what Tom said, you must be fitting the clip wrong by the sounds of it . . ![]() RE: both windows in Y reg 306 stuck open - wacker315 - 05-09-2014 Nah defo fitting the clip correctly. I remove the door seal then place the clip inside once the seal is off the door. No when I press either switch being both the driver and the passenger side there is just nothing at all. Can't even hear the motor trying to work. Sean |
