....xsara washer jets lmao Well it is dark and ive just got the jets lol

In all seriousness what is the best way of getting out the std ones, pushing up through the bonnet or digging out with a screwdriver ?

Push them up through bonnet, screwdriver will scratch paintwork

Thank you sir

I've been a very bad boy and went on a rivals site....but in my defence it was Mr Cheese's info that was helpful...so as he's on here...

You may still find it hard even with the hook and pull method, I know for sure it didn't work for me.

I found the best way is to get some pliers, clamp them onto the base of the washer jet (beneath the bonnet), and push upwards.

The jets are held in place by two plastic tabs, so make sure the pliers compress these.

Good luck Smile

Edit: If you, like many others, find that the Xsara jets aim too low on the windscreen, pop down to Pug and buy some 307 mist jets. These have a much better spray pattern.

Hit the underside with a mallet. Remove rub pipes first.

Or be a man and use your hand.

I manned up and pushed them through with my thumb. Big Grin

Re: Help with fitting my... - devils_fuel - 05-04-2012

I might put something flat on the bottom of the washer jet (pipe removed) and push up out of the bonnet and see what happens Smile

Toby these were £5 posted, how much are the 307's?

Re: Help with fitting my... - Connor - 06-04-2012

Toby there are 2 types of mist jets, the part numbers end in H4 and V8, the V8 ones are the ones you want, which are also the 307 ones cause they are the same lol
