I found the best way is to get some pliers, clamp them onto the base of the washer jet (beneath the bonnet), and push upwards. The jets are held in place by two plastic tabs, so make sure the pliers compress these. Good luck Edit: If you, like many others, find that the Xsara jets aim too low on the windscreen, pop down to Pug and buy some 307 mist jets. These have a much better spray pattern.
