Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Owen_G_ - 21-08-2014 This is my 1996 306 Dturbo. I have it for a while now. I allways wanted a cherry red ph1 dturbo and i finally got one. When i got her she was Badly faded, Covered in tar and had a few marks on the bodywork but still was a clean car and underneath is mint. Got 1 years mot on it and finally got her on the road. Some step up from a 106, Here she is Got her cleaned up a bit and looking a bit better of herself Little bit of screweing done I spent a long time looking for a driver door as mine had a dent in it and the car had a few other marks on it and the paint was faded and i dont think it could ever be brought back to its original colour so i thought it was time for a respray So she got a full lick of paint + the TSW Stealths that were going on her Car came out mint and got the wheels & 3 leg spoiler on her and a few more pics Got her lowered at the front on 60 saxos and a few stickers, It will be lowered at the back soon RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - paulncfc - 21-08-2014 very nice!,lovely looking 306-for some reason I really like those mudflaps, they add a nice finishing touch RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Piggy - 21-08-2014 Very tidy. Some real love gone into this! Quite like the stealths too weirdly...they just seem to work on this one! Big hate for the saxo springs though...sorry. Safer options out there for not much money Just seems a shame to have such mint bodywork...and ruin it with something so simple. Looks very mint though...loving the ph1 love RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Owen_G_ - 21-08-2014 Cheers lads. Cant wait to lower the rear now and a slight tint for the back window. It was a hard decision between stealths of volcanes but i think the stealths suit her better. . Imo i think 60 saxos are the best tbh. i dislike coilovers very much lol and were i live they would be bust in no time haha RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Piggy - 21-08-2014 They are only best if you want the wrong springs for your car. They are saxo springs...not 306 springs Stealths a definite good choice over volcraps! RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - PartyJas - 22-08-2014 Hello fellow cherry phase 1 owner. Very nice looking car. Wouldn't be my first choice of wheels but a good retro wheel nevertheless. RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Owen_G_ - 10-11-2014 Bit of an update : Lowered but shes going down more, 3 nicks at the back soon and getting the back window tinted. RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Eeyore - 10-11-2014 wow that looks very tidy! Great car! RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Piggy - 10-11-2014 Got some safe springs on the front yet? Does look tidy, too low for me, but looks tidy RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Jimbo - 10-11-2014 Ive got some 15' stealths im about too sell, any idea what there worth?? Car looks great mate RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Mattcheese31 - 10-11-2014 Looked perfect before you lowered the back, looks broken now, rest of it is sweet though, just got a phase 1 Rouge valunga myself too RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Owen_G_ - 11-11-2014 Thanks guys. I still have the saxo' s in the front piggy. If I bought coilovers they would be bust in no time on my country roads :p Jimbo I would say they would be worth anything from £150 up depending on condition, caps and tyres. I think there the only wheel for a phase1. This car is soon getting a bigger turbo and a fmic so I will keep use updated RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Mattcheese31 - 11-11-2014 What piggy is saying is buy some lowering springs that are rated for the weight of the 306, not saxo, they won't react properly RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Owen_G_ - 11-11-2014 There actually pretty good tbh. Got the springs which were only 3 weeks old and the struts for £30 I have 60mm 306 ones there but they don't really make a difference. RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Piggy - 11-11-2014 They are (not there) actually pretty damgerous, to be factual RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - hbomb1905 - 11-11-2014 I had 60mm saxo springs on mine back in the day with no problems. Couldn't tell the difference in handling or ride between them and 306 60mm's tbh, they certainly didn't bounce me all over the place! I think if you buy cheap springs off ebay you get what you're given and like it! Fantastic looking car by the way mate, i'd be tempted to put the back up a little or lower the front a tad though as to get a bit of positive rake. If you lower the back more it will squat it's arse and look like every other 'felt spec 306 ever! RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Owen_G_ - 11-11-2014 Yeah INXS she's smooth. There apex' s so they aren't cheap dung. RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Piggy - 11-11-2014 I didnt say they were cheap, or cow excrement at all! Just the wrong springs for a 306! RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - pioneer DJ paddy - 11-11-2014 Car looks well man its fresh looking to lol RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Owen_G_ - 12-11-2014 Thanks paddy for the PM the other day, I looked and no egr can't reply to your pm for some reason also RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - pioneer DJ paddy - 12-11-2014 (12-11-2014, 02:28 AM)Owen_G_ Wrote: Thanks paddy for the PM the other day, I looked and no egr can't reply to your pm for some reason also Think u need More posts to reply or sum thing like that lol if ur turbo is OK then I don't no lol phs 1 306 must not have a egr valve then lol is there defo no boost getting a way lol RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Adam-m-h - 12-11-2014 (12-11-2014, 02:28 AM)Owen_G_ Wrote: Thanks paddy for the PM the other day, I looked and no egr can't reply to your pm for some reason also Great looking car I'm looking forward to more updates/pics And plans interior wise? Changing the turbo tomorrow to another t2 so I will let use know. RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Owen_G_ - 25-11-2014 Cars got a new turbo now (T2) old one's fins where ruined and jammed the wheel. Boosting 22psi now and going well RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - pioneer DJ paddy - 25-11-2014 Good to hear man :-) glad all is going well can wait ta finish my twin turbo project ta see what she boosts lol RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - Owen_G_ - 08-12-2014 I'd say she will be a rocket ship to RE: Owens Peugeot 306 Dturbo - 7057sam - 08-12-2014 Looks great, prefer clones over most things but the other wheels really suit a Ph1.
