Haw can i make a homemade leak off test? Do i block one of the injector returns off and a pipe to a pot ? would this show if the pump is at fault or just injectors?

i read something on another forum as i wanted to check one of my injectors which was misfiring from cold occasionally. it was this from Cully's photobucket:
