brake bleeding order - kee616 - 19-08-2014

Hello all,
I have a citroen zx with rear drum brakes, I want to put new brake fluid in and bleed the system. Which wheel order would I go about bleeding?

Many thanks Smile

A rule of thumb is to start with the wheel furthest from the master cylinder and then next furthest etc etc.

passenger rear, driver front, driver rear, driver front...

Furthest from MC to nearest.

Nearside rear, offside rear, nearside front, offside front.

Drivers rear, pass rear, pass fromt then drivers front on a non abs car 2port master cylinder

non abs is: nearside rear, offside front, offside rear, nearside front . . .not sure about abs though . .Smile

My lines must have been different then as they rand from mc across bulk head and down under car along pass side making the driver rear longest and then pass rear second longest, then pass front after that, my drivers front had a tee off just after mc down under the inner wing to the wheel, all the old pipes i replaced where steel so were oem and thats exactly how they were on my non abs 95 phase1 DT
