Difficult to tell. The unit could be siezed too though. The spring assembley is no longer available from Peugeot but it just unbolts and can be swapped over. I had a garage get a custom spring put on as mine was also snapped and I didn't want it to be an issue at MOT. They are in Oxfordshire though so probably a bit far from you! Brake load valve gti6 - rocker8742 - 14-08-2014 The spring is in one piece but at the bottom where it attached to the beam the road has snapped it is also about 3 inches past the top of the spring so reckon it is seized lol
