So been meaning to do this for a while; some of you may remember me from 5+ years ago (I've got one of those unforgettable faces) in a time before Jlobbs epic builds and when Dumdum was still trying to build a 200bhp HDI by throwing cash at eBay listings/scrap yards.

I started my old build after a visit to KrisB a small Lucas tune up, I was trying to do things that I briefly heard that Jlobb was doing and the end result was a thoroughly ruined minter haha, well maybe it wasn't as bad a I remember but I was definitely sick of fixing the F*cker every weekend. So to jog some of your memories here are few pics of the old G mobile (on a side note if anyone knows where this is Id be happy to hear how someone has turned it around/torched it);

So after I turned my back on the pug vowing to never own another I bought the polar opposite a Mondeo TDCI which turned out to be the best car/motorbike/tricycle ive ever owned. Unfortunately someone pulled out on me on the 406 and came to a complete stop (insurance fraud you say?) totalling the majestic granddad mobile. Next up was a Passat PD130 which after remapping was an absolute beast unfortunately the Lithuanian guy I bought it from neglected to mention that the chassis, flywheel was well and truly mullered so it had to go.

So you may be asking yourself why am I still reading this post well I'll tell you now... I have another Pug (omg I cant believe it!?!?), Natty wanted to sell his and I wanted something without a DMF that would cost peanuts to maintain so here it is in all its lacquer peeling glory;

Its getting Plastidipped matte black to cover the ever spreading Lacquer peel and the clones will be refurbed white (always wanted that colour scheme on a 3 dr). looking at the now classic TD04L with fmic set up for some reliable everyday boost but very happy to hear some input from any of you who have tried and tested some of the science behind all that gubbins.

TLDR; Hello I used to be on pugnet before OC existed and used to know quite a few of you.

Paddy?

I purchased it from Taylon, it was a shit heap, I sold it to Mowle (No longer on here) who drove it for a while, blew the turbo, fixed it, sold it to a lad called Rhys, who I believe has it sat on his drive still on white VTS wheels.

Was an absolute state when I got it & never had the MOT sent to me.

This is the last pic I saw of it on Rhys' Instagram.

Yeah its me Smile

I think it had been stood for a year+ when you got it I remember coming down to see it off and thinking it hadn't weathered well! it was good when I had it it was just stuff like suspension going all the time (London speed bumps) that did it in for me.

Looks quite different in that pic mate, I do actually miss it Confused
