KO4 turbo - strictly_perv - 01-04-2012 Hi i've been offered a K04 turbo off of an Audi Tittie 225bhp. I've heard that they can be a hybrid with a k03 so praps parts could be compatable from my k14 to help it fit into my car. Would this turbo be a good substitute over a t25/td04? He said it kicked full in around 2800rpm but his engine wasn't right plus he had no pressure gauge. I'v found out that the VAG boys hyybrid them with the K03, now would this work on a k14 as I have one on my spare engine? Re: KO4 turbo - Ruan - 01-04-2012 With a different head etc - completely non comparable... Don't hybrid it, keep it as it is if you're going to, it shouldn't be horrendous as it's off a 1.8l... You'd want to just adapt it so you can bolt it to a K14 manifold..
