Scanner faults - Hec1872 - 13-07-2014 Hi. Wondering if anyone could tell me what these are Intermittent fault Additional heating circuit short circuit to positive Glow plugs or temperature sensor ?? Intermittent fault Clutch switch signal consistency with vehicle speed Clutch switch on pedal ????? RE: Scanner faults - Toms306 - 13-07-2014 Additional heating is the coolant heater, its basically 4 glowplugs stuck in one of the coolant pipes lol, gives you hot heaters quicker on a cold morning. Clutch fault is the pedal switch as you say. RE: Scanner faults - Hec1872 - 13-07-2014 Cheers mate. You reckon one of the glowplugs could be the problem.... Any idean how easy it is to change the clutch switch RE: Scanner faults - Toms306 - 13-07-2014 More likely to be a wiring or relay problem, though the plugs themselves will probably be knackered by now anyway. You can't buy them on their own though, so most just ignore that fault code. Clutch switch is easy to change, but a bit awkward due to its location. Scanner faults - Tom85 - 15-07-2014 Clutch switch might just need reseating (I.e pushing back into place) I secured mine with a cable tie and it's been fine for a year. |
