Mitsubushi L200 turbo - strictly_perv - 30-03-2012

I've found a L200 turbo for sale locally to me and after a quick search it appears they are a TD04. The add info's vague and doesn't say the year.
Does anyone know the numbers I should look out for if I go have a look?

*shakes head* it will be a "H" or "HL" one on the L200, you want a "TD04L 13T" off an Impreza Wink I haven't forgotten about PMing you either, just not had chance yet Smile

Just send me a PM with what you know already and what you want to know, save me teaching you how to suck eggs lmao

I have been looking at the bigger compressor wheels and my last convo with Ruan has given me bad ideas!

Both l200s my dads had have had vnt looking turbos with twin actuator arms.
And tbh there not that big either.

Depends on the age of them really though doesn't it, the older ones (more likely to be in a scrap yard than a new one I would think) have TD04 variant turbo's on but yes they are fairly tiny TBH

Re: Mitsubushi L200 turbo - Matty - 30-03-2012

All our usual suspect turbo's are small aren't they really. Just relatively big for our engines etc.

Re: Mitsubushi L200 turbo - strictly_perv - 31-03-2012

A mate's having his TT 225 engine rebuilt and is having the turbo replaced while it's apart. It's running a k04, would this be any good? The engine has 225 bhp as standard so it must be fairly good for what i'm after.
Does anyone know much about these?
