Is there a turbo (petrol) engine that would drop in a 306? Only asking as I fancy a new challenge :-)

8v turbo engine out of a 406/XM
Do believe there is a project already some where with that engine.

208 GTi 1.6 turbo? That will be a challenge and hasn't been done before.
The 406/XM 2.0 8v turbo barely makes more power than the XSi lump so isn't worth the hassle.

405 T16. I'm sure that has been done in 306's a few times. I guess those engines are getting thin on the ground now.
