Fitting 406 215/50/16 alloys. - Toby - 29-03-2012 Evening all.. Quick question really.. Has anyone tried fitting the 406 coupe 16" alloys with the 215 profile tyres? My old 306 ran 205/17's without excessive scrubbing on the arch, but I think the 406's ran a slightly different offset? The one's I'm talking about are the 6 spoke ones from the 3 litre V6. Any advice appreciated.. I know they will probably fit on the front.. Could I roll the rear arches if need be? Cheers. Re: Fitting 406 215/50/16 alloys. - Connor - 29-03-2012 215/50 would be too big a profile I reckon, might not rub but would look shit imo plus I dont think the starfish alloys suit the 306 at all Re: Fitting 406 215/50/16 alloys. - Dum-Dum - 29-03-2012 yeah theyer a lower offset so stick out more and the baloon tyres would be huge and look shite. Re: Fitting 406 215/50/16 alloys. - Toby - 29-03-2012 That's fine, just thought I'd double check ![]() Cheers guys. Re: Fitting 406 215/50/16 alloys. - Dum-Dum - 29-03-2012 will look lush with 194/45R16 or 205/45R16 with rolled arches Fitting 406 215/50/16 alloys. - kentiiboii - 29-03-2012 If its the ones I'm think then IMO they don't look nice full stop never mind on a 306. But your choice. Get lower profile tyres and give them a go. Get a photoshop done first. Re: Fitting 406 215/50/16 alloys. - kingy - 29-03-2012 tryed this on mine and they dont fit and they look shit. Re: Fitting 406 215/50/16 alloys. - Scott - 29-03-2012 They're ET13 compared to the ET15-18 of a 306.
