Where is the level plug? Haynes had got a diagram but it makes no sense to me,

what oil dose it take? 75w90?

Thought they all took the same 75/80 oil and 2 litres of it? That's what the guy at Pug told me back before I knew what I needed lol.

There is two types of this box listed, one takes 1.6 and the other is like 2.3 i think, there is some difference in the cooling fins on the case,

i was planning to keep filling it via the reverse sensor untill the level plug but i cant find it

Can you fit the 307 6 speed gear box to the 306 hdi?

Oh OK, my bad then!

Level plug will most likely be on the end nearest the wheel, and just have a slightly bigger bolt head than the others in the same area. That's how it is on the 306 HDi box.

Thats what i thought but its just a steel end cap on it, book says its in by the drive shalft but thats where i got lost

Hmm, have you tried a 307 Forum? It's obviously very different to the 306 equivalent lol.

Though it looks like there is no level plug on the ML6 'box from a quick search, just fill to the correct amount depending on whether you have fins or flanges lol.
